Man Found Shot Dead Inside Car in Crofton

CROFTON, MD – A homicide investigation is underway in Crofton’s Western District following the discovery of a man found shot to death in his vehicle. The incident occurred on the evening of March 28, when police were called to the scene on Baldwin Avenue.

Upon their arrival at approximately 6:40 p.m., officers found 43-year-old Tommy Lee Williams Jr. from Capitol Heights unresponsive inside a gray Hyundai Santa Fe, with gunshot wounds to his torso. Anne Arundel County Fire Department personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.

The Anne Arundel County Police Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation, seeking to uncover the circumstances leading to Williams’s death. The police urge anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
