NEW YORK, NY – A 39-year-old man was found shot at 453 West 152nd Street, leading to the arrest of a neighbor on multiple charges including murder.
On March 7, police responded to a 911 call about an ongoing assault at the aforementioned address. Upon arrival, authorities found Ousmane Ag with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Ag was rushed to Harlem Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The investigation led to the arrest of Marquis Chappelle, 49, who resides in the same building as the deceased.
Chappelle was arrested on September 5 at 2:12 p.m. and was charged with murder, criminal possession of a firearm, and criminal possession of a weapon.
The arrest was made within the jurisdiction of the 30th Precinct. The case remains under investigation.
