Man killed by gunfire found in Baltimore building Saturday morning

Baltimore, MD – A man was found dead Saturday morning with a gunshot wound to the head inside a building on Spaulding Avenue, launching a homicide investigation in the city’s Northern District.

At approximately 8:26 a.m. on September 13, officers responded to the 3300 block of Spaulding Avenue after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. Inside the building, they discovered an unidentified male victim suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head. Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The victim’s identity has not yet been confirmed, and police have not released any information regarding a possible motive or suspect. The case is now being handled by Baltimore Police Department Homicide detectives.
