Man found shot inside Round Road home dies at hospital

BALTIMORE, MD — A 47-year-old man was found shot multiple times inside a residence on Round Road in South Baltimore late Sunday evening and was later pronounced dead at an area hospital.

Southern District officers responded to the 3400 block of Round Road just after 9:15 p.m. on June 8 for a report of a shooting. Upon entering the residence, officers discovered the man suffering from several gunshot wounds.

Emergency personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Homicide detectives take over case

Baltimore Police homicide detectives responded to the scene and have taken over the investigation. No suspect information has been released.

The victim’s identity has not been made public pending family notification. The investigation remains active.
