BROOKLYN, NY – The New York City Police Department responded to a 911 call on Wednesday, regarding a man shot in front of 392 Gates Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found 36-year-old Willie Zimmerman of 390 Nostrand Avenue suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso.
He was transported to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation into Zimmerman’s death remains ongoing, with no arrests made at this time.
