Man found shot to death on residential street in Clinton

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD — A man was found dead from gunshot wounds early Friday morning in Clinton, prompting a homicide investigation by Prince George’s County Police.

Officers responded just after 7 a.m. to the 4900 block of Plata Street for a report of an unresponsive person. Upon arrival, they located a man suffering from gunshot injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and investigators are working to determine what led up to the deadly incident.

No arrests have been announced, and the victim’s identity has not been released.
