Man found stabbed to death behind building in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 34-year-old man was fatally stabbed early Tuesday morning behind a building on Sutter Avenue in Brooklyn, according to police.

Officers from the 73rd Precinct responded to a 911 call around 6:40 a.m. reporting a man stabbed behind 441 Sutter Avenue. Upon arrival, police found the victim with multiple stab wounds to his back and torso.

Emergency medical services transported the man to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim has been identified as Najee Berry, 34, of President Street in Brooklyn.

No arrests have been made, and police say the investigation is ongoing.
