Man Found Stabbed to Death in Manhattan; Suspect in Custody

Police responded to a distressing scene in Manhattan early Friday morning, January 19, following a 911 call at approximately 5:59 AM. The incident occurred at 560 West 151st Street, within the confines of the 30th Precinct.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 74-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a stab wound to the torso. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) pronounced the man deceased at the scene.

In connection with this incident, a person of interest has been taken into custody. The NYPD is conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.

The identity of the deceased is currently withheld, pending proper notification to the family. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses and the situation develops.
