On the night of October 18, 2023, police were dispatched following a 911 call to 1691 East 174 Street in the Bronx, arriving at the scene around 8:08 PM. Contrary to the initial report of a shooting, officers discovered an unidentified male with multiple stab wounds in the building’s lobby.
Emergency Medical Services were summoned to the location, and the victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.
As of now, the investigation continues as authorities work to uncover the details surrounding the incident. The identity of the victim remains undisclosed as police await family notification.
