BALTIMORE, MD — A 47-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday night inside a home on Round Road, prompting a homicide investigation in Baltimore’s Southern District.
The shooting occurred around 9:16 p.m. on June 8, when officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of Round Road for a report of gunfire. Inside the residence, they discovered the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Homicide unit leading Southern District investigation
Baltimore Police Homicide Detectives have taken over the investigation. No suspects have been publicly identified, and the motive remains unknown.
