Man Gunned Down on Preston Street in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 33-year-old man was hospitalized early Monday after being shot on the 1100 block of East Preston Street, police said.

Officers responded around 12:55 a.m. to reports of gunfire and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics transported him to a local hospital for treatment; his condition was not immediately disclosed.

Eastern District detectives are investigating the circumstances of the shooting and have not released information on a suspect or motive.
