Man Hospitalized Following Early Morning Shooting in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. – In the early hours of Sunday, a man was hospitalized following a shooting incident.

Raleigh Police Department responded to the scene at the 3600 block of New Bern Ave. The incident reportedly occurred around 2:34 a.m.

The injured individual presented wounds consistent with a shooting event. He was privately transported to a local medical facility, where his injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening. No other injuries were reported related to this incident.

Raleigh Police Department described the event as an isolated incident. As of the latest report, no suspects have been apprehended in connection with the shooting.
