WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man was hospitalized Thursday afternoon after being shot multiple times in Northeast D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Officers responded around 3:05 p.m. to the 600 block of Edgewood Street NE for a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from several gunshot wounds.
The victim was conscious and breathing at the scene and was transported by D.C. Fire and EMS to a nearby hospital for treatment.
