Queens, NY – Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz indicted Ray Perez on multiple charges, including manslaughter and drunk driving, for a fatal collision in February. The crash resulted in the death of Perez’s long-time girlfriend, Bridget Enriquez, who was also the mother of his child.

Perez, a 27-year-old Brooklyn resident, faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted. During the incident, Perez allegedly sped through a stop sign, crashed his vehicle, and drove approximately four miles before seeking help for Enriquez, who later succumbed to her injuries.

The Supreme Court has ordered Perez to return to court on June 20 for further proceedings.
