Man Injured During Shooting at Riverfront Park

CINCINNATI, OH – A shooting occurred following an attempted robbery at Smale Riverfront Park on Mehring Way, downtown Cincinnati.

The incident took place just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday, as confirmed by the Cincinnati Police Department.

Upon responding to a report of a shooting, police discovered a man with a gunshot wound in his leg. He was promptly transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury.

The Cincinnati Police Department has not made any arrests related to this incident and no suspect information is currently available.

They are actively investigating the shooting and are asking for the public’s assistance.
