Man Injured in Brooklyn Shooting

BROOKLYN, NY – A 40-year-old man was wounded in a shooting incident in Brooklyn on Sunday evening.

The shooting occurred near 49-15 Flatlands Avenue at approximately 5:20 p.m. The NYPD reports that the victim was struck in the chest by gunfire.

Paramedics responded promptly, transporting the injured man to Brookdale Hospital.

His condition is reported as stable, and he is expected to recover. The perpetrator, described as fleeing in a pink-colored van, remains at large.
