Man Injured in Downtown Wilmington Shooting

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Wilmington Police Department is looking into a shooting that transpired in downtown Wilmington early Sunday morning.

While on 2nd Street, officers heard multiple gunshots around 2:15 a.m.

Moving towards the source of the shots, officers then found a man on Princess Street with non-critical injuries.

He was transported to a local hospital. At present, there is no information about the suspect.
