Man Injured in Shooting Near Citgo Gas Station in Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man was injured in a shooting near a Citgo Gas Station in Northeast Washington, D.C., on Saturday, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue NE. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was promptly taken to a local hospital for treatment. The details of his injuries and his current condition have not been released.

The MPD is investigating the incident, and no further information has been provided at this time. Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward.
