Man injured in shooting on West North Avenue, police investigating

BALTIMORE — A 31-year-old man was shot Tuesday morning in Baltimore’s Western District, according to local police.

At around 10:12 a.m., officers on foot patrol near West North Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue heard gunshots and began canvassing the area. They found the victim in the 1600 block of West North Avenue with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Medics responded to the scene and transported the man to a nearby hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing, and no information about a suspect has been released.
