Man Jumped While Walking Home from Bar in Stafford

STAFFORD, MD—An assault incident was reported early Wednesday morning at Mary Washington Hospital on Sam Perry Boulevard. Deputy V.R. Weadon responded to the hospital at 1:06 AM after the victim was brought in by an acquaintance.

According to the victim, the assault occurred while he was walking home from a bar on Warrenton Road. He reported that four to five males unexpectedly emerged from a vehicle and attacked him.

Stafford detectives have taken up the case and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
