Man Kicked into Tracks Inside Manhattan Subway Station

NEW YORK, NY – Authorities were alerted to an assault that occurred at the 34 Street and 8th Avenue subway station. A 64-year-old man, while waiting for the northbound C/E train, was approached and assaulted by an unidentified assailant.

The assailant, after uttering some words to the victim, delivered a kick to the victim’s back, causing him to fall onto the tracks. Following the attack, the perpetrator fled the scene on foot to an unknown destination.

The victim received medical attention at Lenox Healthplex, where he was listed as stable.
