Man killed, another injured in Bronx shooting

BRONX, N.Y. — A 31-year-old man was fatally shot and a 49-year-old man was injured in a shooting late Saturday night in the Bronx, police said. Officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 9:36 p.m. near the intersection of Sheridan Avenue and McClellan Street in the 44th Precinct.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the 31-year-old victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. He was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced dead. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.

The 49-year-old victim, who sustained a graze wound to the stomach, was also taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln and is reported to be in stable condition.

No arrests have been made as of Saturday, and the investigation is ongoing.
