Man killed in Southeast Baltimore shooting on East Chase Street

BALTIMORE, Md. — Gunfire erupted in the 2600 block of East Chase Street on Wednesday afternoon, leaving a 31-year-old man fatally wounded, according to police.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 3:12 p.m. on December 18 after multiple calls reporting shots fired. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

The man was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by medical staff. Authorities have not yet released his identity as the investigation continues.
