Man Killed in Upper Marlboro Crash

UPPER MARLBORO, MD – A 61-year-old man, Anthony Beverly, Sr. was killed during a crash that occurred Tuesday morning according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

On Tuesday, at 8:25 am, officers responded to the 6300 block of Elmhurst Street for a single-vehicle collision. 

“The preliminary investigation revealed Beverly Sr, who was the sole occupant in his vehicle, was traveling northbound on Aztec Drive approaching the intersection of Elmhurst Street. For reasons that are under investigation, he struck the curb and ultimately struck a tree,” police said.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.
