SMETHPORT, PA – Bradford resident, Daniel Minich, was recently found guilty of several offenses after a two-day trial at the McKean County Courthouse. The charges leveled against him included Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Structure, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Criminal Mischief.

The charges stem from an incident on December 9, 2021, when Bradford Police officers were called to Minich’s residence on Onofrio Street following reports of gunfire. Minich had discharged his firearm twice from within his home, one shot striking his television. Minich also fired additional rounds into the air from his front porch. The discharged rounds were found to have hit a neighbor’s house and a shed while a teenager was present in the neighboring property.

Upon Minich’s surrender, a search of his home revealed possession of methamphetamine. Minich was taken into custody without further incidents, ensuring the safety of the community.
