Man robbed of wallet and shoes inside Brooklyn subway station

NEW YORK – A 31-year-old man was robbed of his wallet and shoes inside a Brooklyn subway station on Monday. Police released photos of the suspects today and are asking the public for assistance in identifying two suspects.

The robbery took place at the Myrtle Avenue and Wyckoff Avenue Train Station on Monday at around 2:30 am.

According to the police report, a 31-year-old male victim was standing on the L train platform when two unknown individuals approached him.

“The suspects then proceeded to punch and kick the victim multiple times before attempting to take his wallet and shoes, but their efforts were unsuccessful,” the NYPD said in a statement.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was later treated at a nearby hospital.
