Man Robbed While Sitting on Bench in Central Park

NEW YORK, NY – A robbery occurred in Central Park near 59th Street and Center Drive on Monday at approximately 9:00 PM. A 21-year-old male was approached by two unidentified individuals while seated on a park bench.

One of the assailants forced the victim to enter his password into an undisclosed device, while the other thief took $80 from the victim’s pocket. Following the robbery, both perpetrators fled the scene on foot. Fortunately, the victim was not physically harmed during the incident. The police are investigating the robbery and seeking information on the suspects who remain unidentified.
