Man shot and killed in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – A fatal shooting occurred in the Southwest District on Friday, at approximately 5:05 PM. Officers were called to the 2000 block of Ashton Street where they found an unidentified male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Despite attempts at life-saving measures, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
