Man shot and killed in Brooklyn overnight

NEW YORK, NY – Yesterday evening, police responded to a 911 call reporting a potential shooting incident at 5614 7 Avenue in Brooklyn.

Upon arrival, officers initiated a preliminary investigation, revealing that a young man, aged 26, had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest in front of 5619 7 Avenue.

The victim’s condition necessitated immediate medical attention, and he was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue where he was later pronounced dead.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

To respect the privacy of the deceased and their family, the identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
