DURHAM, NC – A fatal shooting occurred in the parking lot of Hillside Park last Wednesday afternoon.
Durham police, upon receiving the call at 3:44 p.m., arrived at the 1300 block of Fayetteville Street.
The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was declared dead due to his injuries.
The area around Hillside Park, including the adjacent W.D. Hill Recreation Center, was marked and sealed off.
Despite the efforts, the police have not yet apprehended or identified a suspect related to the shooting.
