Man Shot and Killed in Palmer Park

PALMER PARK, MD – The Homicide Unit of the Prince George’s County Police Department is conducting an investigation into a shooting that claimed the life of a Washington, DC resident. Sean Hodge, aged 33, was found fatally wounded late Monday night.

Shortly before 11:00 pm on that night, officers arrived at the scene in the 7700 block of Penbrook Place following a reported shooting.

Hodge was discovered outside the location, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. A second male victim also sustained injuries from the shooting, however, his condition is not life-threatening.

At present, investigators are engaged in determining the specific circumstances surrounding the shooting and identifying potential suspects.
