Man Shot and Killed on Pritchard Street

PITTSBURGH, PA – Police in Pittsburgh are investigating a Monday night shooting in the Sheraden neighborhood of a city. According to the Pittsburgh Police Department officers responded to a shot spotter alert at the 1300 block of Pritchard Street at around 8:35 p.m.

Upon arrival officers located one male laying on the street. Police rendered aid to the victim until Pittsburgh EMS arrived. Medics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. One male was detained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

Police did not release the name of the person detained at the scene of the incident.
