Fort Washington, MD – Prince George’s County Police are investigating a fatal shooting that left a 37-year-old Temple Hills man dead early Friday outside a home in Fort Washington.
Officers were called to the 6700 block of Botetourt Drive around 12:15 a.m. for reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found Craig Demarco Jackson suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Detectives from the department’s Homicide Unit are leading the investigation. A preliminary review indicates the shooting was not a random act, though authorities have not disclosed a possible motive or suspect information.
