Man Shot and Killed Sunday Night in Baltimore

BALTIMORE — A 56-year-old man was shot and killed late Saturday night in the city’s Southwest District, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of Wicklow Road at approximately 10:40 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

The Baltimore Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the incident. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.
