Man Shot During Dispute in East New York, Suspect at Large

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 27-year-old man was shot during a dispute in East New York on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m. near Logan Street and Fulton Street. Police said an unidentified male approached the victim, and a verbal dispute escalated into a physical altercation. The suspect then displayed a firearm and fired multiple rounds, striking the victim once in the lower back.

The suspect fled westbound on Fulton Street. Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he is reported to be in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, dreads, and a medium build. The investigation is ongoing.
