Man Shot During Robbery Attempt in the Bronx

BRONX, NY — Early Friday morning, a 34-year-old man was attacked and shot during a robbery attempt outside 3310 Third Avenue. At approximately 4:46 a.m., four assailants, two males and two females, forcibly removed the victim from the doorway and attempted to steal his fanny pack. During the struggle, a firearm was discharged, wounding the victim in his left arm and leg.

Despite his injuries, the victim managed to retain his belongings as the suspects fled northbound on Third Avenue. Emergency services transported him to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
