Man shot in broad daylight on Clay Street in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — Police are investigating a shooting that left a 35-year-old man wounded Wednesday morning in the city’s Central District.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Clay Street at approximately 10:25 a.m. after receiving a report of gunfire.

Upon arrival, police found the victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities have not released details about a suspect or motive in the shooting.
