Man Shot In D.C., Police Search For Vehicle

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man was shot in Southeast, D.C. on Sunday afternoon. Police in D.C. are asking for help identifying a vehicle involved in the shooting.

Just before 3:30 pm, police arrived at the 5000 Block of G Street to investigate a report of a shooting. At the location police found an adult male shooting victim. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.

Surveillance cameras captured the suspect’s vehicle. If you have any information about this shooting, please take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The incident remains under investigation.
