Man Shot In Face After Verbal Dispute in Queens

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A dispute escalated into a shooting on Monday, at around 09:30 am in the vicinity of 147-03 Guy R Brewer Blvd.

An unknown individual allegedly discharged a firearm, hitting a 24-year-old male in the left jaw following a verbal altercation.

The suspect, described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 6’2″, and 175lbs, was last seen heading westbound on 146th Terrace on foot.

He was wearing a blue and purple hoodie, black sweatpants, and red and white sneakers at the time of the incident.

The NYPD is working to solve this case and is requesting that anyone with information about the incident or the suspect to come forward. Information can be relayed anonymously through several channels provided by the NYPD, ensuring public safety while assisting in crucial investigations.
