Man shot in Pittsburgh apartment Sunday night in critical condition

PITTSBURGH, PA – On Monday, just before 9:45 p.m., Pittsburgh Police responded to 9-1-1 calls for a person shot inside an apartment building in the 600 block of Stanwix Street.

Arriving units located an adult male victim in an 11th floor suite who had suffered gunshot wounds to each of his legs. Officers applied tourniquets until paramedics arrived. The male was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Detectives from Major Crimes are investigating. The Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene.
