Man shot in the back by three gunmen in the Bronx

NEW YORK, N.Y. — Police are searching for three suspects who opened fire on a man in the Bronx before fleeing on foot.

Authorities said the shooting occurred Tuesday, January 7, at approximately 6:30 p.m. opposite 198 Brown Place. Three unidentified individuals discharged a firearm at a 24-year-old male victim, striking him once in the back.

The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.

The suspects were last seen fleeing westbound on East 137th Street. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
