Man shot in the leg in West Philadelphia; no arrests made

PHILADELPHIA, P.A. — A 30-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Tuesday evening in West Philadelphia, police said.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:37 p.m. near 54th Street and Chancellor Street in the 18th District. The victim sustained a single gunshot wound to his left leg and was transported by a private vehicle to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.

Police said no crime scene has been established, no weapons have been recovered, and no arrests have been made.
