Man Shot in Vehicle on South Fairfield, Suspect at Large

CHICAGO, IL – A 31-year-old man was shot in the right buttocks on Sunday at approximately 3:07 p.m. on the 5400 block of South Fairfield.

According to police, the victim was in a vehicle when a dark-colored sedan drove alongside, and an occupant fired shots, striking the victim. He was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition.

No one is in custody, and Area One detectives investigating the case have not identified any suspects.
