MIDDLETOWN, CT – A domestic disturbance in Middletown on Sunday resulted in a fatal shooting.
Police received a call about the disturbance around 1:15 p.m., followed by reports of a man shot at a residence on Bow Lane.
The victim, whose name has not been released, suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and abdomen.
He later died at the hospital.
While no suspect information has been disclosed, the Middletown Police Department assures that the shooting was an isolated incident and poses no public threat.
