WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department’s Homicide Branch detectives are probing a homicide that unfolded last Tuesday on the Unit block of Galveston Place in Southwest, D.C.
At 1:51 am, officers were called to the Unit Block of Galveston Place following a shooting report. Police found an adult male victim with multiple gunshots to his head. He was transported to a nearby hospital, but despite all attempts to save him, he died from his injuries on Saturday.
The deceased was named 40-year-old Alando Pugh, who had no fixed address.
