Man shot multiple times near Blow Pierce School in Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man was shot near 20th and Gales Street in Northeast D.C. shortly after noon on Wednesday, prompting an emergency response near Blow Pierce School.

First responders found the adult male suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene. His condition has not been released, and details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting remain unclear as the investigation unfolds.

The incident occurred in close proximity to the school, though officials have not indicated whether it was connected to the campus. No suspects have been identified, and no arrests have been made.
