Man Shot Near Joseph Avenue in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A 36-year-old man was shot in the vicinity of Joseph Avenue and Joseph Street around 8:50 p.m. on Monday.

The Rochester Police Department responded to reports of shots fired and found the man injured with a gunshot wound to his lower body.

He was subsequently taken to a local hospital by ambulance.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Currently, no suspects are in custody.
