CORRIGANVILLE, MD – On Saturday, Allegany County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call at a residence in Corriganville, where a male was reported to have suffered a gunshot wound. The Maryland State Police assisted the deputies upon their arrival.
The initial investigation revealed that the suspect or suspects had left the area in an unidentified vehicle. The victim received on-site treatment but declined further medical attention. Authorities have assured the public that this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to community safety.
