PORTSMOUTH, VA – A shooting incident in the early hours of Sunday is under investigation by the Portsmouth Police Department. Officers were called to the 5100 block of George Washington Highway at 3:21 am, where they found an adult male victim who had been shot.
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment, but the extent of his injuries remains unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
