TAKOMA PARK, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the early hours of Tuesday. The victim, identified as 40-year-old Murat Pacal of Takoma Park, was found with a gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred around 3:05 a.m. on December 5 in the 6700 block of New Hampshire Avenue, in the unincorporated area of Takoma Park. Detectives are currently seeking to establish a motive and identify any suspects.
